A theoretical and numerical model of the vibrational system of a vibratory feeder for a seed mixture impurity analyzer with an electromagnetic vibrator has been developed. Based on the Lagrange equations of the second kind, the relationship between the design parameters of the elastic system, the direction of the excitation force, and the dynamic characteristics of the working tray has been established. The geometric and physicomechanical properties of the elastic elements were taken into account to determine their equivalent parameters. Numerical modeling was performed using a parametric modeling approach in the SolidWorks Simulation environment. Modal analysis established that the sixth natural frequency of the structure is 92.046 Hz, which is close to the frequency of the main harmonic component of electromagnetic excitation of 100 Hz when the vibrator is powered from a single-phase 50 Hz supply. It was established that this frequency ratio results in post-resonant operation of the vibratory feeder and provides dynamic amplification of the working tray oscillations. Sequential parametric modeling was performed to determine the effects of the inclination angle of the elastic beams θ, spacing between them As, thickness Ds, height Hs, inclination angle of the vibrator β, and excitation frequency ω on the dynamic characteristics of the system. Based on the criteria of maximum displacement amplitude, velocity, and vibration acceleration of the working tray, the rational design parameters were determined as follows: θ = 50.4°, As = 28.8 mm, Ds = 2.9 mm, Hs = 90 mm, β = 39.6°, and ω = 100 Hz. With this combination of parameters, the maximum displacement amplitude at the end of the vibrating tray is 2.06 mm, the maximum oscillation velocity is 206.3 mm/s, and the maximum vibration acceleration is 102.8 m/s². The results confirm the significant influence of the geometric parameters of the elastic system and the direction of the electromagnetic excitation force on energy transfer to the working tray, while the excitation frequency determines the nature of dynamic amplification in the vicinity of the natural frequency of the structure.
