Annotation

The influence on self-oscillations of the phase structure of polygranular fill of a cylindrical chamber of a drum, which rotates stationary around horizontal axis, is considered. The method of visual analysis of fill motion pictures in a cross section of a camera, the rotational speed of which is slowly changing, is applied. Two bifurcation values of a rotational speed with the maximum self-oscillation swing are established. The upper bifurcation value is somewhat less than the speed limit of a transformation of a circulation mode of a fill flow to a bed layer mode during acceleration of rotation. The lower bifurcation value is somewhat less than the speed limit of a reverse transformation of flow modes during deceleration of rotation. The effect of the mode hysteresis of a steady-state granular fill flow in a stationary rotating chamber is registered. The effect is

to exceed a rotational speed when a circulation mode transforms to a bed layer mode,

during acceleration of rotation, over speed of a reverse transformation of modes, during deceleration of rotation. It was found that the difference between an upper and lower bifurcation values of a rotational speed, the effect of a mode hysteresis, and the self-oscillation swing increases with the relaxation of a frictional interaction of a fill with a chamber surface. It was found that the relaxation of a frictional interaction is caused by the decrease in the content of a fine phase in a polygranular fill and the chamber degree of filling.

History of journal:

In June 1994 the 2nd International Scientific and Technical Conference "Application of vibrations for technological purposes" was organized on the basis of Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute. Leading experts in this field, noting the significant contribution to the school of Vibration Engineering under the leadership of P. S. Bernyk, proposed to create a professional all-Ukrainian scientific and technical journal "Vibration in engineering and technology..The journal was foundedat Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute and P.S. Bernyk was elected to be the chief editor .
For all these years (since 1994) theJournal "vibration in engineering and technology" published  94 issues wherestudy of vibration effects, the creation of progressive energy saving technologies and equipment for their implementation were highlighted.
Currently Kaletnik H.M  PhD , professor, academician NAAS is the chief editor of the "Vibrations in engineering  and Technology"
The journal "Vibration in Engineering and technology", which has no analogues on the territory of Ukraine, is well known abroad.
