Annotation

Electromagnetic vibration drive is used mainly on vibration conveyors, feeders and other vibro-technological devices requiring automatic control of vibration parameters during operation. The purpose of the work is an experimental study of the dynamic properties of the automatic control system of electromagnetic vibration drive, which contains two control circuits: amplitude and frequency. The amplitude circuit contains an accelerometer and an amplitude detector. The frequency circuit contains the current sensor and the detector of the phase shift between the third and first harmonic components of the current. The vibration frequency is adjusted so that the phase shift is equal to the prescribed value corresponding to the near-resonant oscillation mode in which the device has a maximum efficiency. The amplitude and phase shift detectors are based on the discrete Fourier transform algorithm of the accelerometer and the current sensor signals. The control algorithm was implemented in the program of the control system microcontroller. The laboratory standis based on the vibration device for the production of sidewalk tiles weighing up to 10 kg. Instead of a concrete mixture in experiments, sand weighing about 5 kg was used. In the course of experiments, the dynamics of the processes of tracking the given vibration amplitude and the automatic adjustment to the near-resonant frequency at different values of the coefficients of the regulators of the amplitude and frequency circuits was investigated. The results of experiments confirmed the advisability of using the electromagnetic vibration drive amplitude and frequency control law.

Keywords: electromagnetic vibration drive, automatic control of amplitude and frequency, experimental research

History of journal:

In June 1994 the 2nd International Scientific and Technical Conference "Application of vibrations for technological purposes" was organized on the basis of Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute. Leading experts in this field, noting the significant contribution to the school of Vibration Engineering under the leadership of P. S. Bernyk, proposed to create a professional all-Ukrainian scientific and technical journal "Vibration in engineering and technology..The journal was foundedat Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute and P.S. Bernyk was elected to be the chief editor .
For all these years (since 1994) theJournal "vibration in engineering and technology" published  94 issues wherestudy of vibration effects, the creation of progressive energy saving technologies and equipment for their implementation were highlighted.
Currently Kaletnik H.M  PhD , professor, academician NAAS is the chief editor of the "Vibrations in engineering  and Technology"
The journal "Vibration in Engineering and technology", which has no analogues on the territory of Ukraine, is well known abroad.
