Annotation

It was established that the method of intensifying the course of the work process is the organization of supplying the layer with a pulsating flow of air. Using a pulsating air flow, it is possible to change the magnitude of the aerodynamic effect on the grain mass by changing the magnitude of the force pulse under conditions of constant speed. At the same time, the effect of the pulsating flow on the ability to move grains of different mass (density) will be different, which can intensify the separation of seeds by density. The study of the combined effect of vibrations and pulsating air flow on the stratification of the grain flow and separation by density is an important scientific and technical task.

The conducted analysis of publications revealed a promising possibility of using serial vibrating screen machines with a pneumatic system for the preparation of combined machines with a pneumatic system for the preparation of high-quality seeds, instead of vibro-pneumatic tables. To study the efficiency of the combined use of vibropneumoliquefied and pneumogravitational movement of the material.

It is substantiated that the intensifying effect of the pulsating flow consists in the different force of influence on light and heavy grains. The mathematical description of the process of separation of loose material by density is based on the equations of motion of a particle in an oscillating medium, which is valid for any continuous medium that has the property of inertness.

Formulated mathematical models of the processes of movement of components of grain material in the vibro-liquefied layer and in the air channel of the vibro-pneumocleaning machine will allow to determine the trajectories of the movement of grains in the working zones and, based on their analysis, to justify the parameters of the working bodies.

The approbation of the mathematical description of the processes of separation of the components of grain material confirmed the increase in the efficiency of the use of pulsating flows for the separation of grain by density.

History of journal:

In June 1994 the 2nd International Scientific and Technical Conference "Application of vibrations for technological purposes" was organized on the basis of Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute. Leading experts in this field, noting the significant contribution to the school of Vibration Engineering under the leadership of P. S. Bernyk, proposed to create a professional all-Ukrainian scientific and technical journal "Vibration in engineering and technology..The journal was foundedat Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute and P.S. Bernyk was elected to be the chief editor .
For all these years (since 1994) theJournal "vibration in engineering and technology" published  94 issues wherestudy of vibration effects, the creation of progressive energy saving technologies and equipment for their implementation were highlighted.
Currently Kaletnik H.M  PhD , professor, academician NAAS is the chief editor of the "Vibrations in engineering  and Technology"
The journal "Vibration in Engineering and technology", which has no analogues on the territory of Ukraine, is well known abroad.
