Annotation

The primary task of the engineering service has always been the control and forecasting of the resource of nodes and aggregates of any equipment. Solving such a task made it possible not to incur costs associated with the repair and downtime of equipment. The relevance of the work is due to the fact that most of the agricultural machinery is equipped with diesel engines, the power system of which contains the most complex, expensive and responsible units. The reliability of the fuel equipment determines the stability of power indicators, economic and environmental parameters of the equipment equipped with diesel engines. The smooth operation of the engine depends on the operation of the engine's fuel system, which affects its vibrations, which are harmful both to the machine as a whole and to its ergonomic characteristics. On the other hand, an increase in the amplitude of vibrations indicates a malfunction of the engine, the technical condition of which is 70% dependent on the technical condition of the fuel system. Therefore, the connection of the technical state of the system with the vibrations of the power unit, which are described by the laws of harmonic oscillatory processes, can be used for diagnostic technologies by vibration methods. The article analyses the main causes of abrasive wear of plunger pairs of high-pressure fuel pumps, including the dependence of the wear mechanism on the operating temperature of these parts. The analysis of technologies aimed at increasing the durability of friction pairs, taking into account the material of the surfaces of the friction pairs, the modes of operation of the parts and the properties of the working environment, was carried out. It is proposed to use alternative biodiesel fuel made from vegetable oils as fuel. The use of biodiesel fuel is expected to improve the lubricating properties of precision parts, which will increase their resource, an indirect indicator of which can be a reduction in vibrations. This scientific work presents the results of the initiative research work 0122U002187.

Keywords: diesel, fuel equipment, plunger pairs, reliability, resource, biodiesel fuel.

History of journal:

In June 1994 the 2nd International Scientific and Technical Conference "Application of vibrations for technological purposes" was organized on the basis of Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute. Leading experts in this field, noting the significant contribution to the school of Vibration Engineering under the leadership of P. S. Bernyk, proposed to create a professional all-Ukrainian scientific and technical journal "Vibration in engineering and technology..The journal was foundedat Vinnytsia State Agricultural Institute and P.S. Bernyk was elected to be the chief editor .
For all these years (since 1994) theJournal "vibration in engineering and technology" published  94 issues wherestudy of vibration effects, the creation of progressive energy saving technologies and equipment for their implementation were highlighted.
Currently Kaletnik H.M  PhD , professor, academician NAAS is the chief editor of the "Vibrations in engineering  and Technology"
The journal "Vibration in Engineering and technology", which has no analogues on the territory of Ukraine, is well known abroad.
